Spiritual Direction

Spiritual Direction is a form of pastoral care given by mature women and men who walk alongside us as we discern together the movements of God’s Spirit and grace in our lives. A spiritual director is also like a midwife who provides the space that enables individuals to give birth to what is deep inside. Like the midwife who sits with a woman giving birth, a spiritual director is a calm presence who is there to listen, to encourage, to be present during times of struggle and to celebrate the times of joy. Spiritual Direction is a ministry of presence.

Coaching

A coach provides objective, honest, practical, and safe feedback while walking with you through your personal challenges. Here are some reasons why you might need to link up with a coach.

  • If you feel stuck in a certain area of your life or ministry
  • If you feel stuck in an area pertaining to your personal ministry.
  • If you need help in a certain area of ministry-skill, i.e. counseling, preaching, administrating, goal-setting, etc.
  • If you are considering transitioning out of ministry or to another church.
  • If you are a new church planter.
  • If you are faced with a crisis, either personal or professional.
  • If you are preparing to select your first board.
  • If you want to better your preaching skills.

Rose is also available to consult and coach leadership teams. Her years of experience in ministry combined with her work at The Seattle School brings years of practice and wisdom in forming cohesive teams, resilience in times of great disruption, and spiritual guidance for groups via consulting, workshops and retreats.

Regular sessions

* 50 minute session * Can be 1:1, couples' session, or group/family session
  • One-on-one, regular spiritual direction, for one hour$60 - $100/hour (you choose the fee)
  • Couples' Spiritual Direction$50 - $125/hour (you choose the fee)
  • Small Group Spiritual Direction$20 - $30 per person (based on group size)

Regular leadership coaching
